Fujifilm FinePix F30

Here is a look at the new Fujifilm digital camera release dubbed the “FinePix F30 Low-Light 6 Mgapixel Shooter”. The title is not a case of false advertising; the camera features an ISO range of 100 to 3,200. As you would expect the camera performs great at 100 or 200 ISO setting with low noise images. At around the 1600 ISO setting noise levels did affect image quality however the picture was still able to produce decent 8.5 x 11 prints. The 3200 ISO setting produced images with significant noise levels, which caused lose of detail. With all that in mind, the camera sounds like a pretty good low light camera. It produces quality images in normal environments and can give you decent results in moderate low-light situations, and you can even get shots extreme low-light situations. Overall the camera does not seem to impress with reportedly mediocre “functional design” and other features. Look for these at a price point below $400.
